Avatar mediated system for communication and collaboration in Virtual Reality

2017 – 2020

This project aims to develop an immersive avatar control experience for communication and collaboration in virtual reality. To support rich communicational cue, non-verbal behaviour, we developed a contactless tracking for full body and hand movement with multiple depth sensors. In this project, the research team aims to develop a platform based on the avatar system for providing immersive and realistic avatar control experience.
